Quality of the products

Over the last year we have heard many rumors, doubts and concerns about the quality of the products that are available on the market.

In order to continue our leadership and be the single source of responsibility to our customers we have made a survey of different 'Cubes'. We have purchased those cubes from different companies and individuals from countries like: Russia, China, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Lithuania, USA, Poland and UK.

Indeed, there are a lot of different products that vary by size, shape, color, durability and magnetic power. We'll call it PROPERTIES.

Here is what we have found out:
1. Unfortunately, many 'officials sellers' or 'original sellers' are one or two individuals and not registered companies. They purchase products through auctions and therefore offer inconsistant properties.
2. Cheap versions cannot be originals since they are not bought from official producer. All official distributors have equal prices.
3. Original NeoCube is 4.76mm in diameter and is available (to January 2010) in Nickel and Gold colors only. Magnets are strong enough to easily create shapes and manipulate with NeoCube. The protective layer of nickel or gold is thick enough to withstand impact and shock. It also has a supreme adhesion strenght (sticks very well) therefore it will be very hard to damage the product.
4. Cheaper clones, on contrirary, have weak adhesion (bond) of layer, are usually supplied in sizes from 4 to 10 mm; the actual size is very different from nominated (different suppliers have different actual diameter, when nominated diameter is the same); thickness of protective layer is thin; magnetic force is weaker. These products are less durable and harder to manipulate. That is why they are cheaper.
5. Only few companies produce good quality clones that are available in different colors: usually gold, silver, black and nickel.
6. Some sellers were a fraud. We have paid the money but never received anything.
7. Some were resellers of 'clones' - they buy same cheap products and sell them at double price claiming to be original manufacturer.

How can you trust what we say? We can't make you believe us. The only option you have is to go and buy a product somewhere else. That would be a waste of money, of course, but it will prove what we state having spent 6 months on this survey.

Our suggestion is to stick with one company that you consider trustworthy, professional and consistant.
